School NurseLocation: Onsite in Bel-Air, CASalary: 90k-125k DOEPosition OverviewWe are a school for gifted children and are looking for a School Nurse to join our team! We have a wonderful work / life balance as we have 5-6 weeks off per year in addition to our 3 weeks of PTO! We are seeking a School Nurse who will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of students, providing care and health education, and ensuring a safe school environment. This position is vital in promoting health awareness and addressing health-related issues among students.Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to monitor students' health.
• Administer medications and manage health plans for students with special health care needs.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to address health concerns and support student learning.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health regulations and school policies.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN). Will consider PA.
  • Current California license required
  • Experience in pediatric care or school nursing is a HUGE plus
  • Strong knowledge of health education and promotion
