Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting product development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Ontario, CA Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Shift: What's the Job? Develop and implement systems to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities and recommending enhancements to product design and manufacturing processes. Provide ongoing quality engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, including risk management, design changes, and CAPA investigations. Drive supplier quality improvement through engineering analysis, root cause analysis, and collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing teams. Conduct trend analysis and provide business impact assessments to monitor product and process quality, ensuring compliance and patient safety. What's Needed? Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, preferably within the medical device industry, including product development or quality engineering roles. Strong knowledge of medical device regulations such as 21CFR820, MDD, MDR, and relevant standards like ISO14971 and IEC 60601. Experience with problem-solving methodologies, process validation, and risk management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively, including resource allocation and timeline development. What's in it for me?
