Job Description JOBID:2915104/2915024 Position: RN Labor and Delivery 1 Positions Location: Pomona, CA 91767 Job Type: Traveler 13 weeks Start date : 06/24/2025 SHIFT: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Pay: $65-$70 The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to newborns and mothers during the antepartum and postpartum periods. UNIT REQUIREMENT: - RTO Restrictions: Holiday - They can only request 1 but staff will most likely work the holidays - Ratios: 1:2 - Years of experience REQ: Can screen 1 year - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: Weekend requirements for LDRP are 2 weekends every 6 weeks. Night shift weekends can include Fridays. - Certs REQ: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (must include all 11 components), Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) - Is on-call REQ= No - Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs= No - Open to accommodating block schedule= No - Locals accepted: Yes. - Pending License accepted: No - Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours, Client can cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13 week assignment - Special Requirements: Vaginal Exam Ability/Experience, Baby Care Ability/Experience, Experience with 300 Births. - Hospital Highlights - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital - Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center - Total Staffed Beds: 412 - Scrub Color: No specific colors, but no camouflage or character patterns. - Charting: Cerner - Parking Cost: Free ACLS*, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP Qualifications - 1. Current and valid state RN License - 2. BLS - 3. ACLS - 4. NRP or PALS - 5. Fetal monitoring - 6.
