Job Description Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Job description: Responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Perform screenings, evaluations, interpret data, intervention planning/implementation/ review, and treatment to children with occupational therapy needs. - Be accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the occupational therapy service delivery process and determining the need for continuing, modifying or discontinuing OT services. - Conduct assessments in collaboration with others that help to identify children with occupational therapy needs as well as to advise instruction and intervention. - Provide intervention that is appropriate to the age and learning needs of each individual child and is selected through an evidence-based decision-making process. - Engage children and families in goal planning, intervention implementation, decision making, monitoring of progress appropriate to age and ability level. - Supervise and mentor colleagues including new hire OTs, COTAs, and other paraprofessionals, as needed. - Gathering and interpreting data with individual children, as well as overall program development and enrichment. - Collaborate with families and other professionals to benefit from shared knowledge and perspectives. - Work collegially and contribute information to complement and augment other professionals who also have unique perspectives and skills. - Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of Wee Thrive Pediatric Therapy Group are put into practice. - Assist in development of forms and tools to increase efficiency in the Occupational Therapy Department. - Answering questions from clients, parents, staff, other paraprofessionals and insurance companies. - Providing vision regarding overall success and health of the company. - Effectively managing through clear, direct, and respectful communication. - Advise Owners/Directors on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, and the like; ensuring directors and supervisors comply with company policies and administering practices in fair and equitable manner. - Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
