Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert, compassionate critical care to ICU patients, ensuring safety and dignity at every step Manage advanced life support including mechanical and non-invasive ventilation Titrate drips and vasoactive medications precisely to patient needs Perform and support high-acuity procedures such as intubation, tracheostomy care, chest tube management, thoracentesis, and bronchoscopy Operate and interpret advanced monitoring (EV1000, pulmonary artery catheters, telemetry) to guide clinical decisions Deliver renal support therapies including CRRT and SLED when indicated Document thoroughly and accurately in Meditech to maintain continuity of care Collaborate with physicians, therapists, techs, and families to develop and execute individualized care plans Qualifications Active RN license (eligible to work in California) Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH Greater than 1 year ICU experience required (posting lists 2 years of experience) Demonstrated competence with mechanical ventilation, trach care, and vasoactive drip titration Comfort with ICU procedures and advanced monitoring (CRRT, EVD, chest tubes, arterial/CVC management) Knowledge & Skills Strong critical care assessment and prioritization skills Hands-on experience with mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation Familiarity with CRRT and dialysis (SLED) practices Proficiency with Meditech documentation system Skilled in invasive line management (A-line, CVC) and advanced hemodynamic monitoring Experience in neuro management (EVD, lumbar drains) and trauma care Ability to manage chest drainage systems and perform thoracentesis/urinary catheter insertion Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel support to help you settle in quickly Medical, Dental & Vision coverage to keep you and your family healthy 401(k) retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future Life insurance and disability coverage for peace of mind Paid Time Off to recharge after those intense ICU weeks Licensure assistance and reimbursement to make paperwork painless Travel reimbursement and support so you can focus on patients, not logistics Referral bonus program — bring a friend and both win A supportive, experienced team that values your skills and growth Travel Perks: Explore Riverside, California Riverside is a hidden gem with plenty to explore on your off days.
