Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Charting experience with Epic required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the GI Lab. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:3. Experience in administering and monitoring conscious sedation is required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as the position requires on-call duties. The candidate should have familiarity with various endoscopic procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The preferred nurse should have previous charge experience. The ideal nurse will be skilled in working with adults and geriatric populations. Daily patient census averages around nine. References from supervisory roles covering at least one year are necessary. All staff are expected to float as needed between facilities within the state.
