Job Description:

The Sr. Application Developer role involves writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. This includes requirements analysis, designing, documentation, and modifications throughout the software development lifecycle. The Application Developer IV will also troubleshoot software errors promptly and provide status reports as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the conceptualization and development of new software programs and applications alongside developers, analysts, and designers.
• Write scripts to enhance application functionality and appearance as required.
• Research emerging application development tools, languages, and standards to support procurement and development efforts.
• Recommend, schedule, and implement software improvements and upgrades.
• Perform complex tasks, potentially leading and directing others, with a high degree of creativity and judgment.
• Collaborate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve software issues.
• Assist in preparing and documenting program requirements and specifications.
• Work with application owners to review and understand requirements.
• Develop and maintain software programs according to specifications.
• Conduct performance testing on new and existing programs to identify errors and areas for improvement.
• Analyze test results and deliver solutions to identified problems.Scope
