The Clinician provides individual, family and group psychotherapy, mental health assessment, crisis intervention, as well as related treatment and case management services for mentally ill and emotionally disabled clients and their families within the scope of practice.Compensation and Benefits:The pay range were offering is $58,240 - $61,000 annually depending on experience.Our people are the heart of our organization, which is why we offer robust benefits to support your health and wellness as well as your personal and financial well-being.* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance- we offer a company defined contribution of $500/month* Life Insurance* Flexible Spending Account* Paid Time Off* Sick Time* Paid Holidays* 403(b) retirement plan with company match up to 3%* Employee Assistance Program* Tuition Reimbursement* Employee Referral Bonus* Credit Union Membership* Training Opportunities to Further Personal and Professional GrowthQualifications:* Master''s degree in related social services field.* Valid registered intern or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences* Prior mental health service experience strongly preferred* Microsoft Office* General Office Skills* Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening* Ability to commute to various sites* Ability to lift at least 10 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages* Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functionsKey Responsibilities:* Initiate and conduct individual, couples, family, and group counseling/psychotherapy sessions;* Provide crisis intervention to mentally ill/emotionally disabled individuals, groups, and families* Assist clients and family members to understand behavioral health problems and their reaction to them, guide clients in understanding their illness and contributing personal, social, and economic factors;* Assist clients in developing realistic plans; work toward the solution of stresses and barriers interfering with treatment and/or social functioning; identify and focus on client strengths and personal resources to effectively move client toward satisfactory adjustments; and advise clients on community resources.* Maintain records of all activities relating to clients care* Attend and participate in meetings, interdisciplinary team treatment planning, staff training functions, utilization and peer review activities, clinical supervision and case consultation, and public information and educational functions.* Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary clinical team and interpret the psychosocial aspects of the patients illness to the team for use in diagnosis and designing appropriate treatment plan.* Maintain and disseminate medical records and reports in compliance with local, county, federal, State, and Center regulations including Health Insurance Portability* Maintain direct services productivity level according to policy.* Work effectively with adults on a wide variety of diagnoses, low economic status, and diverse cultural backgrounds.* Apply and interpret the principles and techniques of marriage and family therapy or clinical social work and integrated behavioral healthcare methods.* Analyze client behavior and apply treatment techniques in a coordinated care, social rehabilitation, recovery model focused environment.* Communicate effectively and interact with clients, staff, agencies, and community representatives in situations requiring instruction, persuading, consulting, counseling, and motivating people; and prepare and present clear and concise verbal and written reports.* Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, other Agency staff members and the behavioral health community.* Understand, explain, and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures* Handle confidential matters with discretion.* Meet regularly with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment objectives* Provide crisis intervention* Remain on call for clinical emergencies* Regularly take responsibility for the agencys clinical on-call phone over the weekends.* Participate in chart reviews and other QA functions* Maintain all required documentation on a timely basis and in accordance with contractual and regulatory standards.* Attend all required supervision, department and agency meetings.* Take responsibility for on-going development of professional skills.* Attend all required agency training* Participate in the agencys Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan as assigned.* Other related duties as assigned.Why Should You Apply?* Our Mission- work for an organization that makes a real difference in peoples lives* Competitive pay* Several benefit options* Employee tuition reimbursement* Great training for staffJoin McKinley to Be Your Best H.U.M.A.N.McKinleys response to COVID-19: The safety of the families, children, clients we serve as well as our valued team members is our priority.
